As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17
We welcome young adults who are out of high school -- whether in college, working, or starting a career, we offer a cup of coffee, spiritual encouragement and fellowship to young people who are learning independence and responsibility in their lives but seeking greater dependance on Christ.
When not attending young adult events, many young adults are serving in other aspects of church life including teaching children's Sunday School, helping with Youth Group and summer mission teams, playing in the Worship Band, serving LPC's outreach dinners, and participating on church committees.

monthly book discussion
Second Thursday of each month | Feb. 9 at 7-9 PM
Join us for a monthly book discussion on The Secular Creed, a book that looks at five contemporary claims in our culture, answering them from a biblical perspective. Author Rebecca McLaughlin ultimately argues that Christianity is the original source and foundation for true diversity, equality and love. Learn more.
Join us on the 2nd Thursday of each month in the church Library. It will be a casual time of discussion, facilitated by a different couple each month. The book will be provided, as well as refreshments.

YOUNG ADULT LEADERSHIP
Throughout the year, studies and events can vary as college students come and go. Young adults have opportunities to test and grow their leadership skills as they lead and organize their own studies and gatherings with support and encouragement from pastoral leadership.
