As a PREPARE/ENRICH Facilitator, Steve is trained to interpret the #1 premarital and marriage assessment tool.  In premarital counseling both the bride and groom to-be have a chance to talk through the life events that can create conflict and disappointments in marriage by learning how to lean on strengths and develop growth areas. 

All marriages go through multiple phases over a lifetime which can lead to marital drift (slowly be drawn away from each other).  In Couples Counseling the emphasis is on relationship building and alignment of oneness and purpose.  As one participant in Couples Counseling says:  “Every good marriage deserves marriage counseling”. 

Counseling sessions in both Premarital Counseling and Couples Relationship Counseling are conducted in a Couple-to-Couple environment.  My wife Pam, who is a Leadership and Transition Coach with clients in the U.S. and in foreign countries, joins with me when we are working with couples to ensure that each participant has an advocate in the session.  This setting allows us to model and practice new key learnings and celebrate positive change.

While grief and loss may have predictable stages, each person travels on their own path, often surprised by both expected and unexpected feelings.  As a Grief and Loss Specialist, Steve has had the honored privilege to journey with people through the process of adjustment due to loss.
