WHAT TO EXPECT
Our goal is to make everyone who walks through our doors feel welcome. Even if our handshakes and hot coffee are on pause because of COVID, you'll find a welcoming environment focused on worshipping Jesus, studying the Bible and growing closer to God.
"I’m so grateful my husband and I happened upon LPC 3 years ago. We were new to the area, new parents and without any local family or friends. What a joy to be able to worship and feel instantly at home!"
- Amanda
"I love this church! It is a wonderful place to worship and learn about our savior Jesus Christ. If you are looking for a church that teaches biblical truth then I recommend LPC."
- Krista
"First time in a Presbyterian church and I was amazed in the clear biblical message given by the younger associate pastor."
- Stefan
We're gathering a community to live for Christ.
For over 60 years, we have been a community committed to worshipping God and serving those around us.
We welcome you to come and grow with us.
FAQs
Let's help make your first time great!
Where are you located?
We're located in Hatfield, PA even though our name suggests Lansdale. Our roots are in Lansdale. Our address is 450 Oak Park Road, Hatfield, PA 19440. We're tucked into a residential neighborhood, so keep an eye out for our sign.
What is worship like?
Worship usually begins with singing, which includes both contemporary worship music as well as traditional hymns. We also pray, have a time of greeting one another, and partake of communion on the first Sunday of February, April, June, August, October and December. We also include a time for giving, and we encourage you to give only as you feel led. A sermon is given by one of our teaching pastors or a guest preacher/teacher. Our services are usually 75-90 minutes in length.
What do I do when I get there?
Enter through the main center entrance. Greeters will be near the doors to welcome you -- just look for those with name tags on. You'll see the Welcome desk in the center of the lobby as you enter. Make sure to visit the Welcome desk during your time for a special gift! If you have children, we'll be happy to help your children get settled in.
What should I wear?
You can wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Generally, you'll see most people wearing business-casual.
How are you staying safe during COVID-19?
We are currently meeting in person as well as providing an online worship experience. Nurseries and children's programs are open with special precautions for health and safety. To allow for recommended social distancing, we are blocking off every other pew. We have five different areas within the church where you can participate in the service. Masks are not required but highly encouraged. Learn more about our COVID precautions.
